$2 500 bursary for Mature women students $2 500 bursary for Young women entering university

About the Quebec City Women's Club

The Quebec City Women’s Club is pleased to be able to offer two bursaries this year of $2.500 each. Both awards are to members of our English speaking community. A young female student beginning her university education and a mature student in full time university studies will be the recipients of these awards.

Since its founding seventy years ago, the QCWC has focused its fund raising efforts in support of higher education for women. Various means were used over the years to raise money; however the QCWC Annual Book Fair has helped the organization increase the amount of bursaries and establish other graduation awards. As of 2008 our bursary funds are being managed by the Citadel Foundation.

Membership in the QCWC is open to all members of our community. We invite you to come to a monthly meeting and meet us! We work hard to insure that each Book Fair is a success and we have a program of varied interesting meetings monthly.
